The Coffee House

Stepping foot into a bustling cafe to be overcome with the strong aroma of coffee is one of the best feelings in life. Just imagine cozy coffee houses filled with dark coloured, slightly stained armchairs and the whizzing sound of the coffee maker in the background… Ah, my kind of haven.

By now you must be wondering why there’s a doodle of a diamond above when the title of this blogpost is clearly titled ‘The Coffee House’. Well, that’s because I came across what is called a ‘diamante poem’ recently and was intrigued by this form of poetry.. And so I tried my hand at writing my own, theming it on none other than coffee, just because my love for coffee is as strong as a diamond (GET IT) 😂 This is my very first attempt at writing a diamante poem; feel free to comment if you have any suggestions or tips for improvement! 😊
